Easy to use remote desktop sharing tool

For remote service we use a 3rd party program called TeamViewer. This program has been around for years and is extremely safe and secure. You will have to be present to begin the session and once the remote session has ended we have no way of getting back into your computer without your approval. If you want to take extra precautions simply remove TeamViewer from your computer after the service has been completed.

Some Key features of TeamViewer are:

  • A tool that makes it possible to work as if we are sitting right next to you.
  • Solve issues remotely bringing customers and colleagues together without the complication bringing your computer in.
  • Private data, private conversations, and private meetings stay that way.

DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO SETUP TEAMVIEWER:

If you haven’t already, please visit the download page.

Choose your operating system from the top and download the executable from main page. “download TeamViewer” link

Double click to run the executable file “TeamViewer_Setup_en.exe”

Basic installation is fine, this is the default selection, select personal use and click accept to begin the installation.

Once the installation is complete, TeamViewer will open a window with a ID#. Simply provide us with “Your ID:”  321-000-075 (example only) and the password generated by TeamViewer. “1234” (example).

Using the given credentials above we will be able to access your computer. You see what we see, at that point we will disconnect from the phone and use the “Chat Window” built right into TeamViewer. All communication will be done through Chat. We will let you know how long the service will take within the first 5-minute consultation. You can choose to stay present or if it is going to take a while you can leave and we will call you upon service completion.
